Daniel Dunn, Founder

Daniel Dunn is a senior aviation executive and strategic advisor with deep expertise in airport self-service, biometric identity, and large-scale operational transformation. He is known for bridging strategy and execution—translating complex regulatory, technical, and commercial requirements into solutions that work in live airport environments.

Over his career, Daniel has led high-impact programs across the Americas and multiple international markets, partnering with airlines, airports, government agencies, and global technology providers. His experience spans biometric identity solutions, self-bag-drop systems, common-use passenger processing platforms, TSA alignment, and multi-vendor integrations—often in high-pressure, time-critical deployments. He is frequently trusted to step in where complexity, risk, and accountability converge.

As Chief Operating Officer, Daniel built and led diverse technical and operational teams while guiding the U.S. organization through acquisition and integration into a global aviation technology provider. He served as the executive lead during transition, maintaining operational continuity, client stability, and team alignment throughout the integration period.  He is particularly valued for his ability to align stakeholders with competing priorities—technical teams, regulators, finance, operations, and executive leadership—around a shared outcome.

At his core, Daniel is a pragmatic problem-solver and trusted partner. Clients and colleagues describe him as calm under pressure, direct without being rigid, and deeply committed to delivering results with integrity. He brings a hands-on mindset, strategic perspective, and long-term view—focused not only on what works today, but on building solutions and relationships that endure.

He founded Dunn Aviation Solutions to continue advancing passenger processing modernization through disciplined, real-world advisory grounded in decades of operational leadership.
